Canyonlands at Chesler Park
Canyonlands at Chesler Park
2021
ACRYLIC ON CANVAS by Robin Hostick
24 x 48 in.
The less-often-visited Needles District of Canyonlands National Park is a treasure of stunning beauty that sometimes feels like another planet. The remoteness and difficulty of access makes these landscapes even more special. This painting is inspired by a view across Chesler Park, a hidden gem of desert prairie surrounded by multicolored palisades of sandstone. Mid-day light suffuses the landscape warm hues from the sandstone.
Canyonlands at Chesler Park is painted in acrylic on 1-1/2” gallery profile canvas with hand-painted, neutral-toned edges for a contemporary look with or without a frame. The work arrives ready to hang.
