High in northeastern Oregon’s Eagle Cap Wilderness, dubbed “The Alps of Oregon”, Ice Lake rests at about 8000 feet elevation surrounded by 10,000 foot peaks. Sacajawea Peak catches the morning light in the distance as sun streams in to the lake shore. This brings to mind the peaceful sense of being alive I always feel in the high country.

Ice Lake is painted in acrylic on stretched canvas. The painting arrives ready to hang, complete with an artist-selected frame.
