High summer on the flanks of Mt. Hood is truly an alpine paradise. The aptly named Paradise Trail leads clockwise around the mountain from Timberline Lodge, with many miles of meadows and dreamy scenery to explore. This scene captures the even light of midday and the rainbow of colors in wildflowers, meadow herbs, and the volcanic rock of the mountain itself.

Mt. Hood Paradise is painted in acrylic on 1-1/2” depth cotton canvas with hand-painted, wrapped edges for a contemporary look that stands alone without a frame. The artwork is shipped ready to hang.
