This is one of my favorite Oregon coast hangouts near Cape Arago. With soft brushwork and carefully controlled values, this painting suggests the atmospheric quality of a summer evening, when sun fills the cove and breakers churn on the nearby cliffs.

Simpson Cove is painted in oil on 1-1/2” depth cotton canvas with hand-painted, wrapped edges that stand alone without a frame. The work is shipped ready to hang.
