This special edition print series honors both the lodge and the Breitenbush community for the gifts they are. It expresses the towering mystery of the ancient forest surrounding the lodge, a welcoming oasis of warmth in the wilderness. Each complements and reinforces the other, softened by misty moonlight.

Breitenbush Lodge fine art prints are offered in two sizes: 12 x 18 in. for $150 and 18 x 27 in. for $200. Prints include an additional 2 in. and 3 in. (respectively) white border where the print is hand signed and numbered in series by the artist. Prints are unframed.
It’s comforting to know that some ideals really exist. The ideal of wintry warmth and community, for example, the quintessential lodge in the woods, windows aglow with the promise of hot food and good company. Since 1927, Breitenbush Lodge, center of the eponymous Breitenbush Hot Springs retreat nestled deep in the Cascade mountains of Oregon, has embodied this ideal and so much more.
Although Breitenbush Hot Springs was severely damaged in the wildfires of 2020 - including the loss of many buildings -I’m grateful the lodge was saved. Rebuilding is underway. My hope is this unique and resilient Oregon community will continue to thrive and support the healing and wellbeing of future generations.
