One of our early long-haul backcountry trips as a family led us up the East Lostine valley and into this view, gateway to an alpine wonderland. Well worth the blisters and bugs. There’s so much to discover about expressing the sublime. I love how solid, distant landforms emerge from a few complementary gray tones and blues, and how shadow creates layers of distance.

Prints are 8 x 10 in. (same size as the original) plus a 1.25 in. white border where the print is hand numbered in series and signed by the artist. Final size is 10.5 x 12.5 inches.
