Among the many things I love about mountains is the power to move us emotionally. Watching the sunset on the North Sister is breathtaking and hard to forget. The sense of distance, the rainbow colors of volcanic rock, and the remoteness of the wilderness tend to eclipse anything else that might occupy your mind. This painting aims to express that momentary sense of the sublime, something refreshingly beyond our influence.

Prints are 8 x 10 in. (same size as the original) plus a 1.25 in. white border where the print is hand numbered in series and signed by the artist. Final size is 10.5 x 12.5 inches.
