A woodland meadow of Oregon white oak trees, seemingly illuminated from within by strong June sun, and framed by conifer forest. This is a landscape native to western Oregon, where a few fragments of the original oak savanna remain in and around the Willamette Valley. There’s something special about it that has always inspired me. I painted this scene to convey the sense of space and aliveness of the forest and meadow, and to offer an invitation to step within.

The print size indicated is the actual printed image. In addition, these prints include a 1” white border for the artist’s signature and series number.
