I’m so happy to have found Robin Hostick’s artwork, as it is the perfect fit for my space. I was looking for local Oregon subjects combined with local Oregon talent and have found it. The landscapes that Robin paints inspire outdoor exploring, and then capture the memory of the place in a beautiful way. I like that!

We commissioned Robin to create a painting of the Three Sisters, and we are so pleased with the final painting! We placed the painting in a prominent space on our living room wall at our home in Sisters, and have received numerous compliments from visitors!

I met Robin at the Salem Art Festival. His paintings of wild and scenic areas around Oregon really impressed me. I learned from Robin that many of them require a great deal hiking to get to a spot that provides him with an unique view of a mountain, lake or other natural setting. Because my wife and I like to hike and camp in central Oregon, we asked Robin if he could paint a scene of the Three Sisters that captures the mountains from a higher perspective in the wilderness. Robin backpacked into the area, took some pictures, and then shared a preliminary painting of the scene he had in mind. It was perfect! With that, he completed a 48" x 24" painting that we love. 

Robin was easy to work with, and kept us up-to-date on his progress. He asked for our feedback before creating the final painting to ensure we were getting what we expected. The finished painting more than met our expectations! It is a wonderful addition to our home, and reminds us every time we look at it of the wonderful times we've spent (and will continue to spend) in the Three Sisters wilderness!
